🎥 An extensive online 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐒𝐈 – 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐒𝐍𝐌 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 was successfully delivered on 6th May 2026, on the topic: “𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 & 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”.

Both funded by the European Partnership on Metrology and Horizon Europe, the ThermoSI project focuses on thermometry with embedded SI traceability for industrial applications while the FunSNM project aims at developing methods for assessing the trustworthiness of distributed sensor networks.

On the day, the speakers covered the following:
● introductions to the ThermoSI and FunSNM projects
● latest developments in traceable temperature measurement for industrial processes
● fundamental sensor network metrology and measurement assurance
● application areas including heat treatment, district heating, gas distribution, waste incineration, and air quality monitoring
