Roman Pushchin from NSC “Institute of Metrology” presented research related to self-calibrating sensors at the 13th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Metrology and Measuring Technology” (ХІІІ Міжнародна науково-технічна конференція «МЕТРОЛОГІЯ ТА ВИМІРЮВАЛЬНА ТЕХНІКА»), held in Kharkiv, Ukraine and online on 8–9 October 2026.

The biennial conference brings together researchers and experts in metrology and measurement technology to share the latest developments and innovations in the field.

As lead author, Roman Pushchin presented the paper entitled “Approach to Using Machine Learning Algorithms for Self-Calibrating Sensors Automation” («Підхід до застосування алгоритмів машинного навчання для автоматизації датчиків із самокалібруванням»).

The work (within WP4) explores the application of machine learning algorithms to automate self-calibrating sensors, contributing to the development of advanced measurement technologies. This research aligns with the objectives of the THERMOSI project, which aims to advance industrial thermometry through improved measurement techniques and enhanced metrological traceability.

The conference provided an opportunity to share the project-related research with the Ukrainian and eastern Europe metrology community and contribute to discussions on emerging approaches to measurement science and technology.
